About
Sarah Myles is an Australian author. She began to write fiction after graduating in literature from Monash University, and studying at the University of Western Australia. She has trained and worked as a nurse, travelled through Europe, The Americas and Africa.
She is the author of The Wolf Hour (published by Allen & Unwin) about a family in crisis set partly in Africa and partly in Australia, and Transplanted (published by Hodder Headline) set along the south-west coast of Victoria, a story of dislocating change and transformation among a group of disparate characters.
Currently she divides her time between writing and family, living in inner Melbourne and on the west coast of Victoria β Boonwurrung and Gadubanud country
I have always been fascinated by people and story, where they come from where they are going.
From where I work and live I wish to acknowledge the traditional Aboriginal custodians of the land and waterways and pay my respect to them, their culture and their Elders past, present and emerging.
